Religious Education Inspection Report
Christ is at the heart of everything we do. Our school is a place of faith, learning and love, where every child is nurtured and valued. We are proud of the strong sense of family that defines our community, ensuring that each individual is recognised and that diversity is embraced and celebrated.
Our Religious Education inspection report recognises the warm welcome we offer to all and the strong, caring relationships that underpin daily life in our school. It highlights how our Catholic life is lived out and celebrated as a community, with pupils and staff actively embracing the principles of Catholic social teaching.
“The school is a warm and welcoming community where relationships are strong and rooted in Gospel values.” CSI Report June 2023
The report also identified clear priorities for further development, particularly in strengthening the consistency of teaching and challenge in Religious Education, embedding effective use of assessment, and developing a more rigorous approach to monitoring and evaluation. It also recognised the importance of building wider collaboration to support continued improvement.
Since the inspection, we have taken decisive steps to address these areas. We have strengthened curriculum planning and assessment practices, invested in high-quality professional development for staff, and established more robust systems for monitoring the impact of our provision. We are also continuing to develop partnerships with the Archdiocese and other schools to ensure that our practice is informed by the very best standards.
This ongoing work reflects our commitment to continual improvement and to ensuring that every child receives a rich, challenging and meaningful Religious Education.
