Traditions
Carleton House was established by a group of parents in the early 1970s. Its forerunner, Woolton Hall Preparatory School, had been run by Nuns who decided to close the school. A group of parents wanted the traditions and ethos of the school to continue and in 1974 Carleton House opened at Lyndhurst Road, Mossley Hill in Liverpool.
Since then it has gone from strength to strength, upholding a proud sense of tradition, excellence of results and a caring, community spirit.
Carleton House re-located to Menlove Avenue, Calderstones in Autumn 20009 markinged the next step in the school's development as Merseyside's leading co-ed Prep School for the 21st century.
