Entry Procedure and Fees
Carleton House is an independent fee-paying school. We keep the fees as low as possible to ensure that we offer value for money whilst maintaining the school's high standard of education.
We have recently expanded facilities in our Early Years Foundation Stage 1 Nursery (age 3+) and there are some sessions available:
Monday, Thursday and Friday - full days
Tuesday and Wednesday - afternoons only
We also have a limited number of places available for the 2010/11 academic year:
Year 1 - 2
Year 2 - 3
Year 5 - 3
Fees for the academic year 2010/11
Reception to Year 6 (age 4-11)
£1,976.03 per term. £5,928.00 per year
This includes lunch, day trips, French/Spanish lessons and personal insurance cover.
A discount of 3% is available for fees paid in advance, by the end of July, for the next academic year. This reduces to fees to £5750.28. This figure includes lunch, day trips, French/Spanish lessons and personal insurance cover.
Foundation Stage 1 (age 3+) Nursery Fees
Full Day £33.00 8.45 am - 3.15 pm (lunch included)
Morning £17.50 8.45 am - 1.00 pm (lunch included)
Afternoon £17.50 11.45 am - 3.15 pm (lunch included)
Nursery Grant is a maximum of 15 hours per week at £3.40 per hour (£51.00 per week), applicable for a maximum of 38 weeks per year. Please check with school for eligibility criteria and how to access funding. The School accepts childcare vouchers from all providers.
Fees for additional activities eg music lessons, ballet etc will be invoiced separately, as required
After School Club Fees
3.25-4.30 p.m. - £4 3.25-6 p.m. - £7 including a snack
Payment of Fees
Fees are payable in advance of the first day of term or by direct debit in 10 monthly instalments.

Entry Procedure
We are experiencing an increased demand for places at Carleton House. We are regularly oversubscribed with a strict waiting list policy, places being allocated in order of the date of application. As a consequence we advise you to apply to the school at your earliest opportunity. Some parents apply straight after their child is born. Others apply even before their child is born!
