Curriculum
The curriculum consists of:
Early Years foundation stage
Foundation Stage 1 age 3-4
Foundation Stage 2 (reception age 4-5)
Carleton House offers the full statutory primary curriculum.
Pupils are prepared for Key Stage 1(years 1 and 2) and Key Stage 2 (years 3-6) SATS tests, Pupils take the SATs at the end of Key Stage 1 (year 2) and Key Stage 2 (year 6). Pupils attainments at the end of both of these Key Stages is usually above the expected level of attainment nationally.
- In addition, French is taught in Reception and in Years 1-4, while Spanish is taught in Years 5 and 6.
- There are optional classes in ballet and musical instruments.
