After School Club
At Carleton House the school day doesn't end at 3.30! We offer a wide range of clubs and other activities, as well as a dedicated After-School Club service for all ages.
After-School Activities
A strong regard for providing for the whole child being at the heart of our school vision, extra curricular activities have continued to flourish with different activities during the year:
- The ever popular infant and junior football run by David Campbell
- Tag Rugby
- Cross Country
- Netball

Away from the sports field the school provides
- Spanish club
- Cookery Club
- Chess/board games Club
- Drama
- Eco Club
Within the school day but additional to the curriculum we also run a cycling proficiency course for Year 5, fencing for years 5 and 6 and dance for Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1.
After-School Club
Carleton House is justifiably proud of its excellent, very successful, in-house After-School Care provision for parents who require a later pick-up time. This flexible service operates from the end of the school day until 6.00pm. Miss Viv Page and her team of assistants supervise a programme of varied indoor and outdoor activities for pupils.
There are substantial hot snacks provided for those staying beyond 4.30pm.
The After Hours is £7.00 for a full session and £4.00 for half session
